Lung-Soothing Pear Tonic

A comforting tonic made with pear, ginger, and honey, perfect for soothing lungs and easing flu symptoms.

Ingredients

  • 1pear1 whole
  • 2ginger3 slices
  • 3honey3 tbsp
  • 4water4 cups
  • 5cinnamon2 sticks
  • 6lemon peel1 piece
  • 7dried lemon1 piece

Instructions

  1. 1Peel the pear then place in a pot with the ginger and honey.
  2. 2Add enough water to cover the pear, about 4 cups.
  3. 3Bring to a boil then simmer for 25-30 minutes and serve with more honey to taste.
